Whilst this is a beautiful dish, it is more suited to wet food as it is very shallow. Unfortunately my cat doesn't like wet food. I've been using mine for dry food, but it's messier than a regular bowl and holds a very small amount-a lot tips onto the ground. I also wish they were a bit more elevated. They're very low elevated dishes! The packaging is beautiful and sturdy, however i do wish it were more environmentally friendly and 100% compostable. Foam is so unnecessary in packaging nowadays. Aside from that, i think these are wonderful bowls. They're thoughtfully designed and would be excellent for shorter cats who enjoy wet food.
