Why We Started

My love for cats began at the age of five with my very first feline companion, Pusstiver—and it’s only deepened over the years. I’ve always shared my home with cats, and along the way, I’ve learned just how particular they are about their food and how important it is to respect their unique needs.

Keeping my cats happy and healthy has always been a top priority. Over time, I began noticing a frustrating pattern: food left untouched around the edges of their bowls, even though plenty remained. I called it empty-bowl-itis. I was constantly scraping food back to the centre—or worse, throwing it away and wasting expensive premium cat food.

Then came a turning point. A vet visit revealed that both of my cats had developed chin acne from eating out of plastic bowls. Later, another diagnosis—whisker fatigue. That restless pacing in front of the food bowl? It wasn’t fussiness—it was discomfort.

Determined to find a better solution, I searched for a high-quality cat dish. What I found instead were bowls made from cheap, toxic plastics, and a few overpriced glass options that still didn’t meet our needs. So, I set out to create something better: a safer, smarter, more thoughtful design.
